Sinead McGurk explains how she learned about EasyScan and how it helps her in her practice to better educate her patients and increase the trust they have in her.

I purchased my EasyScan after seeing it in operation at a trade show in 2015.  I had not considered purchasing such a piece of equipment but was so impressed with the quality of the imagery that I had to give it serious thought, and I’m delighted that I did.

The equipment has given me added confidence in the examination room, seeing below the surface of the retina on two layers, clearly and easily. I am then able to educate the patient and demonstrate any concerns that I may have about their eye health. This instils a sense of trust and loyalty in the patient towards myself as their eye care practitioner. My subsequent recommendations for the best optical corrections are then well received by the patient, increasing the average value dispense.

My EasyScan was the first one installed in Northern Ireland, and therefore was, and still is, a valuable practice differential. In 2018 my practice won the prestigious AOP UK Practice Of The Year, and in the same year won the Randox Health Optometry Practice of the Year Northern Ireland. Having an EasyScan in my test room, I feel, helped towards the massive achievements of winning these awards. I am delighted to own and use an EasyScan.
